	Teď ještě kdyby La-La Land vydal již před několika lety avizované rozšířené edice The Towering Inferno a JFK a byl bych s letošním rokem velmi spokojen :) A Intrada by k tomu ještě mohla přihodit rozšířené vydání Born on the Fourth of July, když je letos to 30. výročí od premiéry filmu. Všechno samozřejmě v produkci Mikea Matessina! Osobně by se mi nejvíc líbil box set The John Williams/Oliver Stone Collaboration, obsahující rozšířené edice Born on the Fourth of July, JFK a Nixona. Ale to je vzhledem k zapojení tří rozdílných filmových studií (Disney, Universal a Warner Bros.) bohužel jenom sen.

	Takže už zbývá pouze 5 Williamsových soundtracků k filmům Stevena Spielberga, které nevyšly v rozšířené podobě a u kterých je šance, že by mohly vyjít: Always (?? minut nevydané hudby) Amistad (46 minut nevydané hudby) Catch Me If You Can (40 minut nevydané hudby) The Terminal (20 minut nevydané hudby) War of the Worlds (35 minut nevydané hudby) Vydání těch ostatních blokuje buď John Williams osobně (The Sugarland Express), a nebo příliš vysoké poplatky, které se musí platit Americké federaci hudebníků u všech filmů, které mají premiéru od léta 2005 až do současnosti a jejichž hudbu nahrál některý z amerických orchestrů, což se týká všech Spielbergových filmů počínaje Mnichovem a dramatem The Post konče :(

	The Jaws 2CD set is currently sold out but will likely be re-issued at some point with a slightly different program K tomu Roger Feigelson z Intrady píše toto: It means the new packaged album will not include the bonus tracks. Just the main program and the LP program. We hit the AFM max and in order to keep it in print we needed to reconfigure the program. Seemed like the easiest alteration.

	Wow – what an evening that was at the Königsplatz with music by the legendary John Williams! David Newman and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra were on fire; as was the amazing audience. Thanks to my best fans ever: this evening will stay in my memory as one of the greatest adventures in my life. It all started out with me (in the hair style of Rey) presenting my green bow (quite an alternative to the light saber -:)) Each set of music was arranged by John Williams to be in itself a cosmos. And I followed through with 4 costume changes . We had full moon – total perfection!!! In the day following the concert I felt quite sad that this project is over – for now. But I will be back with music of John Williams soon … and then there are still the limited editions of the vinyls coming soon. It is so moving to have met a world full of John Williams admirers!! This has been a great present to my life. May the force be with the master – and all of you 😘 Anne-Sophie Mutter

	The DVD is, as we expected, the interviews with John Willliams and Anne-Sophie Mutter. It's split up in two segments: a 30 min feature before recording has begun, and a 10 min feature two days into recording. They go through the tracks, talking about each piece's origin and how it makes them feel. It's light hearted and a bit go-by-the-numbers, but there are some good tidbits here and there. Whatever the conversation lacks in substance, they make up for with charm. They have great chemistry together and Mutter is super charming throughout the entire thing. There's really nothing said between them that I could divulge here that could be considered a spoiler, but I guess you can skip the next few paragraphs if you want to see the DVD completely unspoiled, as I thought I'd go through four or five points that I thought was interesting.

	Škoda, že na tom bonusovém DVD kromě rozhovoru Anne-Sophie Mutter s Johnem Williamsem nebude i kompletní záznam toho sobotního koncertu v Mnichově :( Musím říct, že ten koncert (i když jen ze záznamu) se mi strašně moc líbil (když tedy ZDF odpustím ty problémy se zvukem) a byl bych velmi rád, kdyby s ním Anne-Sophie Mutter navštívila i naše končiny ;) Mimochodem hrozně se mi líbilo to nové houslové aranžmá "The Devil’s Dance" from The Witches of Eastwick, které bohužel na tom CD není, protože v době když se nahrávalo, tak s ním John Williams ještě nebyl hotov. Ona celá ta část koncertu s fialovými šaty, tzn. "Night Journeys", "Princess Leia’s Theme" a "The Devil’s Dance", byla naprosto famózní! Musím říct, že tohle je jeden z nejlepších koncertů hudby Johna Williamse, které jsem měl možnost vidět, i když v tomto případě jen ze záznamu. Holt ty londýnské orchestry, ať už LSO nebo RPO, toho Williamse prostě umí zahrát ;) Samozřejmě to samé platí i o těch amerických, ať už je to LA Phil, BPO, BSO, apod. S radostí musím též kvitovat, že David Newman a Gustavo Dudamel jsou více než hodnými nástupci Johna Williamse na dirigentském stupínku. Bravo!
