Vše započalo 12. března 1925, kdy se v malé francouzské vesničce Roubaix narodil Georges Delerue. Během celé své kariéry se podílel na vzniku přibližně 200 filmů, které se během následujících let staly filmovou klasikou, což je do jisté míry i jeho zásluha.
Po vystudování skladby na prestižní Pařížské konzervatoři se Delerue nějaký čas věnoval komponování komorní hudby a napsal i několik baletů. Stopy jeho klasického hudebního vzdělání nesla i naprostá většina jeho filmových výletů, i přes svojí mimořádnou tvořivost v oblasti filmové hudby, stále udržoval s koncertní tvorbou velmi vřelé vztahy... =====>

For this new edition of the score we remastered the album to address a few tone anomalies, along with a few room noises, while we were at it. We have added new liner notes, in addition to retaining the 1992 notes.

Taktéž. Takový fanda, abych si koupil úplně stejnou hudbu jen kvůli přejmenovaným skladbám, zase nejsem.

Yes what's interesting is the first issue was mastered by Erick Labson and shows some compression and the levels are a bit hot in places. It's not too bad. This new edition is mastered by Pat Sullivan who's a rock star mastering engineer. It's not as loud as the original issue and features the natural levels of recording. Well worth the upgrade.
